COMMUNITY FOOTBALL
Community Football's key responsibility is to enhance, increase and promote opportunities to play football on the Central Coast.
Community Football service grass roots football and offer a range of programs for the total beginner through to the budding football player looking to improve their technical ability and skills. Community Football's aim is to create a positive first experience of our sport and offer a service that exceeds participants expectations leaving them wanting more of our great sport!
Community Football offer a range of junior development programs including:
- School holiday programs (Precision Clinics / Football Fourz)
- Newcastle Permanent Schools program (School Development, Talent Accelleration Programs, School Tournaments)
- Veto Sports Cup - For Grades 5 & 6
- Mini kicker pre school program
- Precision Football Clinics (for 7-9yr olds)
A comprehensive coach education calendar exists that offers members of the coast:
- Regular coaching qualifications courses at Pluim Park (Junior, Youth and Senior Licences)
- "FFA Grassroots" Certificate Courses at local clubs
- Coaching update sessions
- FFA Community Football Licence Coaching Courses
Community Football provide support to the 22 affiliated clubs through a range of resources to assist with their ongoing development.
