Supporters

Whilst it is human nature for parents and supporters to get excited and enthused watching their young ones play, particularly in younger age grades, certain criteria must be complied with;

  1. Must not endeavor to coach players. This is the province of the coach. In regard to juniors too many people shouting directions can merely confuse them and put them under unnecessary pressure
  2. Must not enter the field of play and must remain behind the spectator line, either marked or imaginary, at least two (2) metres from the field
  3. Must act in a sporting manner to players of both teams
  4. Support and encourage players but do not set them goals that are too high or put them under undue pressure to perform
  5. Must obey directions by referees or officials
  6. Let the players enjoy themselves
  7. Breaches could result in disciplinary action against offender or their club
