FIXTURES
1) Central Coast Football Regulations
Central Coast Football Regulations cover the day to day procedures and rules in respect to the playing of football on the Central Coast.
These Regulations may be accessed by clicking here.
2) Draws
Due to the continuing drought 2007 could be a difficult year in respect to playing fields. In accordance with a duty of care it may be necessary for Councils, Clubs and/or the CCF to close fields if they are considered unfit for play for one reason or another. As such decisions will be made week to week, full draws will not be posted on this web site. Draws will be issued by the CCF to Club Fixtures Officers who in turn will on-forward same direct to the team managements.
3) Fixtures
At Club level all matters appertaining to fixtures are controlled through each Club’s Fixtures Officer(s). All enquiries in the first instance are to be directed to the Club Fixtures Officer, or as otherwise directed in the Regulations, not to the CCF Office. If necessary the appropriate Club official will contact the CCF.
4) Wet weather and other changes to fixtures.
Arrangements have been put in place between the CCF and Clubs to cover contingencies such as adverse weather.
Club Fixtures Officers will notify teams of changes. Alterations to field and ground availability will also be posted on the Conditions Page.
5) Grade 10
As part of ongoing initiatives being explored and implemented by the CCF a Round Robin will be held for Grade 10 competitions at the beginning of the season. This will entail teams being graded into competitions of 8 teams with each team playing 7 games over a 4 week period.
They will then be re-graded according to the results thereof and play a further two full rounds of proper competition over the remainder of the season. The points and results from the round Robin will only be utilised for re-grading purposes and will not count towards the competition proper.
The purpose of this is to try to get the teams into more evenly graded competitions. The flow on from this is that in ensuing years better grading should eventually flow through to all age groups.
